Shubbak is seeking an Assistant Producer for a three-month paid traineeship offered in partnership with Good Chance’s Stage Door 11 programme. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside the Shubbak team in the lead-up to our 2027 festival, gaining hands-on production experience, and to join a cohort of 11 creatives from across the UK, with access to skills development sessions, masterclasses, networking opportunities, one-to-one wellbeing support and mentoring from the Shubbak team.

About The Role

Good Chance and Shubbak are partnering to offer a creative and supportive placement for someone with experience of forced displacement, to join our team for 3 days a week over three months. This role is part of our commitment to creating inclusive opportunities in the arts and the creative sector.

The Assistant Producer must adhere to the organisational values, policies and procedures. They will liaise with national & international artists as well as venues and partners, help manage logistics for events, and help support the marketing team. Together with the CEO & Artistic Director, Senior and Participation Producers, the Assistant Producer will assist with producing projects for Shubbak’s artistic programme and participation work in the lead up to and on ground at Shubbak Festival 2027.
