GATHER IN SOLIDARITY: PALESTINE, LEBANON AND SUDAN

The Arab British Centre, Arts Canteen and Shubbak invite you to join us for an evening of community, solidarity and reflection, featuring performances, music, spoken word, food, and stalls in support of Palestine, Sudan, and Lebanon.

The past year has been devastating. We mourn the thousands of lives that have been lost as we witness with horror the continued escalations in violence across Palestine, Sudan, Lebanon and the wider Arab region.

Language has become inadequate to express our anguish and our grief, and so we lean on the power of art and community to support and re-energise us as we navigate these dark times. We come together to seek solace and strength in unity.

Join us at Grand Junction for an evening of performance, music, spoken word, food and stalls in solidarity with Palestine, Sudan and Lebanon. Profits raised from ticket sales will be donated to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

Before the event we will also offer facilitated quiet reflection for those seeking a healing space.

Artists performing include: Bint Mbareh, Inua Ellams, Rama Alcoutlabi and Mario Christofi, Rihab Azar, Adib Rostami, Basma, Nabad Troupe, Tania Salmen, Riwa Saab and more to be announced soon.
