مهرجان شُبّاك 2025 كان نسختنا الأكثر طموحًا حتى الآن — أكثر من 50 فعالية على مدى 3 أسابيع مليئة بالحياة، إحتفت بالفنون العربية وفنون منطقة جنوب غرب آسيا وشمال إفريقيا المعاصرة في لندن وخارجها. تنوّعت العروض بين المسرح، الموسيقى، الرقص، الأدب، الفنون البصرية والأداء المتعدد التخصصات، مقدّمة أعمالًا جريئة من المنطقة ومن جاليتها، مع 15 عرضًا عالميًا أول و10 عروض أولى في المملكة المتحدة، وجمهور تجاوز 60,000 شخص. مع بيع تذاكر 24 فعالية بالكامل، رسّخت هذه الدورة مكانة شُبّاك كمنصّة دولية رائدة لعرض وإنتاج أعمال الفنانين العرب وفناني المنطقة.
من المسارح العالمية الكبرى إلى التعاونات المجتمعية المحلية، قدّم شُبّاك 2025 رؤية حيوية ومتعدّدة للثقافات العربية وثقافات جنوب غرب آسيا وشمال إفريقيا اليوم — رؤية تضع المجتمع في المركز، تحتفي بالمغامرة الفنية، وتكسر السرديات السائدة لتبني جسور تواصل عابرة للثقافات.
نتوجّه بجزيل الشكر إلى Arts Council England ومؤسسة دروسوس والمجلس الثقافي البريطاني على دعمهم الثابت والسخي، الذي مكّن شُبّاك من التحليق نحو آفاق جديدة — موسّعًا نطاق المهرجان وطموحه، باعثًا أفكارًا مبتكرة، ومضيفًا أول وفد إقليمي في تاريخه.
As Shubbak's 2025 Festival draws to a close, we're looking back and remembering a few of our favourite moments from the festival. A beautiful, bold, and deeply human tapestry of dance, music, theatre, and visual art that celebrated the resilience, culture, and the power of collective creativity.
Shubbak Festival 2025 was our most ambitious edition yet — over 50 events across three vibrant weeks celebrating contemporary Arab and SWANA arts in London and beyond. Spanning theatre, music, dance, literature, visual art, and interdisciplinary performance, the festival showcased bold new works from across the region and its diasporas, with 15 world and 10 UK premieres, reaching over 60,000 people.
With 24 sold-out events, this edition affirmed Shubbak’s place as a leading international platform for Arab and SWANA artists. From globally renowned venues to grassroots collaborations, Shubbak 2025 offered a dynamic, plural vision of Arab and SWANA cultures today — one that centres community, embraces artistic risk, challenges narratives, and builds lasting cross-cultural connections.
We’re deeply grateful to Arts Council England, Drosos Foundation, and the British Council, whose steadfast support enabled Shubbak to reach new heights — expanding its scale and ambition, sparking fresh ideas, and hosting our first-ever regional delegation.
