SHUBBAK FESTIVAL // 1 – 16 July 2017 // PROFESSIONAL VISITORS PROGRAMME
SHUBBAK (meaning ‘window’ in Arabic) is London’s largest biennial festival of contemporary Arab culture bringing new and unexpected voices alongside established artists to new audiences every two years. Shubbak connects London audiences and communities with the best of contemporary Arab culture through ambitious festival programmes of premieres and commissions of visual arts, film, music, theatre, dance, literature and debate. Shubbak has become a key moment in the arts calendar of the UK and the Arab World.
For our 2017 edition, Shubbak offers professional visitors a dense professional programme allowing you to see several productions per day. We also aim of facilitate meetings between professionals working in the Arab region and the UK/EU and allowing in-depth encounters with the artists.
To make the most of your visit we suggest our busy weekend programmes. Below you find suggestions for two possible routes you can take to see the maximum number of works and meet with international professionals while in London

Shubbak does not take in charge any expenses related to international professionals.
