We're really pleased to be part of the North Star Project. The New Diorama Theatre has put together a group of 30 arts organisations to form this national application reading service. So far, it has helped with questions from over 150 artists and theatre makers, and read and fed back on just under 50 applications. They also created a list of more than 600 artists who need support and information during this crisis.

The initiative is aimed at artists and theatre makers who have never applied to Arts Council England for support, or have applied and not been successful. It's a great thing to be part of and thanks to the New Diorama Theatre for pulling us all together at this critical time for the creative industries.

The reading service is supported by the insights and experience of Alphabetti Theatre, Arts at the Old Fire Station, Barbican Theatre, Birmingham Hippodrome, Brighton Dome and Festival, Bristol Old Vic, Camden People's Theatre, Diverse City, Everyman and Playhouse, Exeter Northcott, Farnham Maltings, In Good Company Network, Jerwood Arts, Middle Child, National Theatre, New Diorama Theatre, Nottingham Playhouse, Pleasance London, Polka Theatre, Royal Exchange Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Scene & Heard, SlungLow, Tangled Feet, The Lowry, The Place, The Spring, Theatre Royal Plymouth and Wardrobe Theatre.
