A Window on Interference

Projection art in the public realm by Tunisian collective Interference transforming two unified windows on Edgware Road into a dreamy, dynamic canvas.

Offering a glimpse of emerging contemporary Tunisian art, the works examine the interplay between water and earth through abstract forms, animations, figurative narration, and landscape representations. Migration, survival, and belonging intersect with water, as a force of change, and earth, as a symbol of stability, ownership, or displacement, connecting threads between histories and identities. The result is both a physical and metaphorical evocation of the ephemeral.

Featuring the works of 7 Tunisian artists, the projections are intentionally positioned within the rhythm of the urban environment, inviting passersby to pause and engage in thoughtful reflection on our relationship to land, water, and identity in a rapidly shifting world.
