A groundbreaking call for climate justice drawing on opera, dance, spoken word, immersive sound and film.
This isn’t a story about plastic straws or bags for life, this is the tale of how we got to here, this is what the dog said to the harvest.
Tracing 400 years across multiple narratives, we confront the era of human displacement.
Combining the immediacy of live performance and the intimacy of installation, what the dog said to the harvest is an invitation to solidarity; highlighting the ripple effect of Western-centric behaviours on silenced communities, and drawing on stories from across the UK, Lebanon and Syria.
lisa minerva luxx weaves poetry, fiction and memoir alongside critiques of Europe’s foundational philosophies. The inclusion of verbatim illustrates how climate crisis has long since arrived for Middle Eastern communities and the Global South, and leaves us asking how we can build towards a more progressive future across borders.
jasmin kent rodgman’s installation and score blends sound art, contemporary x electronic music featuring field recordings, vocals, electric guitar, synths and percussion, experienced via live performance and 360° surround sound.
The work is an immersive promenade experience, audience members will be free to move around the space as the work unfolds amongst and around them.

دعوة رائدة لتحقيق العدالة المناخية تعتمد على الأوبرا، والرقص، والكلمة المنطوقة، والأصوات والأفلام الغامرة.
لا يسرد هذا العرض قصة القشّات أو الأكياس البلاستيكية التي تدوم مدى الحياة، بل قصة كيف وصلنا إلى ما نحن عليه الآن، وهذا ما قاله الكلب للحصاد.
نجد أنفسنا أمام عصر النزوح البشري عندما نتتبع 400 عام من السرديات المختلفة.
يمثل عرض "ما قاله الكلب للحصاد"، الذي يجمع بين آنية الأداء الحي وحميمية البناء الفني، دعوة إلى التضامن تسلط الضوء على التأثير المتتابع والمتنامي لسلوكيات المركزية الغربية على المجتمعات التي تتعرض للإسكات والتهميش وتستند إلى قصص من المملكة المتحدة، ولبنان، وسوريا.
تنسج (ليزا لوكس) الشعر والخيال والمذكرات مع انتقاد الفلسفات التأسيسية لأوروبا، ويوضح دمج اقتباسات حَرْفية كيف وصلت أزمة المناخ منذ فترة طويلة إلى مجتمعات الشرق الأوسط والجنوب العالمي ويجعلنا نتساءل كيف يمكننا العمل على بناء مستقبل أكثر تقدمية عبر الحدود.
يمزج البناء الفني لـ (جاسمين كينت رودجمان) وموسيقاها الفن الصوتي بالموسيقى الإلكترونية والمعاصرة متضمناً تسجيلات ميدانية، وصوتيات، وغيتار كهربائي، وتوليفات، وآلات إيقاعية يختبرها الجمهور من خلال أداء حي وأصوات تحيط بهم من جميع الاتجاهات.
هذا العمل تجربة تفاعلية أشبه بنزهة؛ إذ سيكون للجمهور الحرية في التنقل في جميع أنحاء المكان بينما يتكشّف العمل بينهم وحولهم.
